State license tracking
Multi-state license tracking for clinicians — every state, one calendar.
Telehealth made multi-state the norm, but the renewal calendar didn’t catch up. NPs and PAs holding a dozen licenses; physicians running collaborative practices holding more. Larch tracks all of them on one screen, with separate clocks and the alert cadence you set per credential, so a license never quietly lapses on a state-board portal you forgot to log into.
What Larch tracks
Built for the way clinicians actually license.
Per-state license rows
One credential per (clinician × state). Tennessee APRN, Florida APRN, Kentucky APRN — three separate clocks, three separate documents, three separate alert ladders.
Multi-state cockpit
A unified dashboard rolls every state into one view. Sort by next expiration, filter by status, drill into any single state for the underlying detail.
Alert cadence you control
Pick the days each license should ping you — anything from a single 30-day reminder to weekly for the last month. Default to 90/60/30/14/7 if you don't want to think about it. Email and push, both channels.
License document vault
Upload the issued PDF, the renewal receipt, or any supporting document. Encrypted at rest, signed-URL access only — never public links.
Prescriptive authority tracking
Capture the state-specific authority status separate from the license itself, so collaborative-practice or supervisorial conditions don't get lost.
Multi-state continuity
When a license is replaced (renewal issues a new number) or a state is added, the new credential picks up cleanly. No re-mapping the dashboard.
Common questions
What clinicians ask first.
- I hold licenses in 8 states. Does Larch handle that?
- Yes — Larch was built for multi-state clinicians. Every state license is its own row with its own clock. We don't blend renewal dates across states; each one alerts on its own schedule. The dashboard rolls up so you can see what's due across the whole map at a glance.
- What about prescriptive authority status?
- Track it as a separate field on each license — when it was granted, when it lapses if your state requires periodic renewal of the authority itself, and any conditions attached (collaborating physician, formulary restrictions). The alert fires the same way as the license itself.
- Can Larch tell me what each state actually requires for renewal?
- We don't yet ship a state-by-state rules engine — that's on the roadmap. For now Larch is the calendar and the document vault. You set the date; we send the alerts and keep the supporting documents in one place. When state-specific renewal rules ship, your tracked credentials carry forward with no re-entry.
